1and1.com: Redirecting Your Domain To ReversePhoneDetective.com

1. Log-in at admin.1and1.com
2. Click “Domains”
3. Choose the domain name you want to redirect by checking the box next to the name
   (i.e. www.MyReversePhoneDetectiveAffiliateSite.com)
4. Under the “Destination” drop-down, choose “Edit Destination”
5. Choose “Forward Your Domain” from the “Destination*” menu drop-down
6. Put your Clickbank Tracking Link into the “Forwarding Destination:” area
   (i.e. http://NICKNAME.phonesrch.hop.Clickbank.net where NICKNAME is your Clickbank nickname)
7. Choose the radio button next to “HTTP Redirect”
8. Click “OK”
9. All domain registrars (including GoDaddy.com) need 2 to 3 hours to process the changes to your domain.  Once this time period has elapsed, type-in your original domain (i.e. www.MyReversePhoneDetectiveAffiliateSite.com) into your browser.  If you are immediately sent to ReversePhoneDetective.com with your Clickbank nickname in the URL (i.e. http://ReversePhoneDetective.com?hop=NICKNAME), then you have successfully set up a domain redirect. 
   Congratulations!

Tips & Tricks

• You can include your Clickbank TID in the URL you placed in the “Forward To:” area
  (i.e. http://NICKNAME.phonesrch.hop.Clickbank.net?tid=REFER1). 
  See the Clickbank TID section for more information, however, PLEASE realize that you can track exactly which domain is generating the MOST traffic using this method!
• In just a bit, you can log-in to Clickbank and check to see if you are receiving any “hops”
  (“hops” are what Clickbank refers to as visitors).  That way, you can be assured that people who are visiting your domain either by typing it directly into their browser or clicking on it as a link from another site are being correctly credited to your account.
