Custom TID tracking from Clickbank:

Clickbank lets you pass a "TID" tracking code along with your affiliate link. This tracking ID will appear under Tracking Code Summary in your Clickbank account.

Substitute "NICKNAME" with your Clickbank nickname. Then change out"XXXXXX" with a tracking ID of your choice (it can be 1 - 8 characters).

So if your Clickbank nickname was "johndoe" and your tracking code was "ppc", your completed link would look like this:

http://johndoe.phonesrch.hop.clickbank.net?tid=ppc

You can use as many tracking ID's as you'd like. It is recommended that you create intuitive tracking ID's such as SITE1 for referrals which come from Site 1 or BANNER5 for referrals which come from your banner ad #5.

Where to go and what to look for:

  1. Login at Clickbank.com/login.htm
  2. Choose “Reporting” -> “Analytics” from the navigation menu across the top of the screen
  3. Once on the Analytics page, mouse down to “Affiliate Reporting” and choose “Tracking Codes” from the “Report By:” drop-down field. Choose your dates and click “Go”
  4. The information stored under “Code” in the result is your Clickbank TID tracking code. This tracking code will appear next to its corresponding sales in your Clickbank account
  5. Analyze & adjust appropriately

Tips and tricks:

  • Using TID tracking codes, you can quickly isolate which site is converting the best based on "Hops Per Order". Remember, the lower the Hops Per Order, the more money you will be making per visitor to your site!
  • In addition to tracking individual sites, you can also track individual advertisements on each site or across a host of sites by integrating your Clickbank TID tracking code into the advertisement's referring URL.

Your use of Clickbank TID tracking codes will give you insight into which advertisements or sites are converting the best.

USE CAREFULLY AS THIS IS SUPER-PROFITABLE, DEADLY INSIGHT!
